Deadlines for applications at the home university are:
for winter: January 31
for summer: July 31
The internal deadlines for the coordinators to transfer the applications to the central coordinators are March 15 (for winter) and September 15 (for summer).
In principle interested students will have to apply at the International Programs Office of the home university. Applicants will have to meet the general requirements for the study abroad program and will have to pass the internal selection procedures of the home university. Applicants should use the relevant form for the hosting university (normally available online on the webistes of the host institutions). Selected applicants/applications will be transfered to the central coordinators of the program: In Germany the coordinator for the Research Universities in Karlsruhe and the coordinator for Universities of Applied Sciences in Pforzheim. In Mexico the central coordinator for either outgoing or incoming students. The coordinators will distribute the applications to the various locations.
The accepted students will get the "letter of acceptance" and all other relevant information (course descriptions, housing forms, etc) directly from the host university. Applicants should receive the admission letter and the relevant infomaterial till the end of april (for winter) or till the end of october (for summer).
Please note: the semester dates may vary by the host university. In Mexico the summer semester starts in the beginning of january, the winter semester starts in the mid of august. In Germany the winter semester may start in the beginning of september (at some locations some weeks later); the summer semester may start in the mid of february (and again at some locations some weeks later). Interested students should check the website of the host university and should be aware of time table conflicts during the academic year (winter/summer semester).
